Since its introduction and formalization of the selling price, the Xiaomi SU7 electric car has sold well in China. The car, which is sold at a starting price of Rp. 400 million, was immediately sold as many as 88 thousand units in just 24 hours.
Reported by VIVA Automotive from Drivespark, Tuesday, April 2, 2024, reservations have been opened since March 29, 2024 at 59 dealers located in 29 cities. The deposit that consumers must pay to lock their car orders is 5,000 yuan or around Rp. 11 million.
Noted, the Chinese electronics manufacturer has received pre-orders for the SU7 electric sedan as many as 88,898 units in the first 24 hours. This cannot be separated from the low price offered by Xiaomi on this maiden electric car.
The standard SU7 will be sold for CNY215,900 or around IDR475 million, while the pro and max versions will cost CNY245,900 (IDR539 million) and CNY299,900 (IDR658 million) respectively.
